Megan & Keivan’s Dresser Mansion Wedding
Tulsa, Oklahoma | September 22, 2018 | Dresser Mansion Wedding
When I asked Megan how she envisioned her wedding, she described a “fun party” and a “large family reunion.” That was the heart of her and Keivan’s Dresser Mansion Wedding: bringing their people together for a celebration that felt personal, welcoming, and true to them.
Their September wedding paired vintage-inspired style with rich color, but the day wasn’t just about creating a beautiful setting. It was also about making room for family, celebrating with friends, and sharing moments with their families.

A Wedding In Their Own Style
Dresser Mansion appealed to Megan for more than its appearance. She loved its vintage feel and architecture, along with the space for family members to get ready and spend time together. It suited both sides of her vision—a distinctive setting and a gathering that felt like a reunion.
Megan described her style as boho and vintage, with burgundy, blush, navy, gold, and sage in her palette. Choosing linens and flowers and designing the layout were some of her favorite parts of planning. Those choices gave her a way to make the celebration her own.

Her fitted Calla Blanche lace gown from Bridal Elegance and sparkling Badgley Mischka heels complemented that vintage-inspired direction. Keivan wore a gray three-piece suit from Suitsupply, while burgundy bridesmaid dresses and colorful flowers brought the wedding palette together.

When asked what advice she would give other brides, Megan’s answer began, “Be true to your style.” It’s a fitting way to describe her approach: choosing what she loved rather than building the day around someone else’s expectations.

Family At The Heart
Megan and Keivan held their ceremony outdoors, surrounded by family and friends. A flower-filled backdrop and white draping gave the garden ceremony a romantic setting, with the mansion behind them

The close-up photographs tell a more intimate part of the story. From vows to dances. Family was at the center. Having Megan’s father there was especially meaningful. Their time together was an important part of the day, from walking down the aisle to sharing a beautiful father-daughter dance.

At the ceremony’s conclusion, Megan and Keivan shared a beautiful first kiss, and then stood together beneath the flowers as their wedding party applauded and guests captured the moment.

There was room for a lighter side, too. The wedding-party portraits are full of personality, and they bring us back to the kind of celebration Megan wanted from the beginning: a wedding with plenty of fun alongside the meaningful moments.

A Reception Filled With Connection
For the reception, Megan’s enjoyment of choosing flowers, linens, and the layout came together in a setting filled with rich colors and gold accents. Patterned linens, blue-toned glassware, and floral centerpieces dressed the tables beneath a canopy of string lights.

The celebration included live music, toasts from the best man and a bridesmaid, and time for Megan and Keivan to enjoy being surrounded by their guests.

The best man and a bridesmaid shared toasts, and the celebration made space for meaningful moments with both families.
Megan & Keivan shared a beautiful first dance together. Having Megan’s father there was especially meaningful for her. Their time together was an important part of the day, from walking down the aisle to sharing a beautiful father-daughter dance.
Keivan also shared a mother-son dance with his mother. Both dances belong in this story—not simply as reception traditions, but as time the couple spent with the people who mattered to them.

Their cake from Ms. Laura’s Cakes carried the flowers and gold accents into another part of the reception. But the cake-feeding moment brought a little playfulness to those carefully planned details.

When asked for advice for other brides, Megan’s answer began, “Be true to your style.” Her wedding reflected that thought through its distinctive lace, rich colors, and vintage-inspired surroundings. Just as importantly, the photographs hold onto the time she and Keivan shared with family and friends.
The evening ended with a sparkler send-off, with family and friends lining the path around Megan and Keivan. It was a lovely ending to a wedding that began with a simple wish: to bring everyone together and celebrate
